The Move Seattle Levy, Proposition 1 on this November’s ballot, contains over $105 million in pedestrian-oriented projects in Seattle that will:
- repair damaged sidewalks in urban centers and villages
- build new sidewalks, especially those along transit corridors
- retrofit curb ramp and crossing improvements
- repaint crosswalks regularly
- improve school walking routes
- rehabilitate stairways
- construct access to transit stations
- install pedestrian countdown crossing signals
The Levy is a game-changer for making Seattle a safe, more accessible, and inviting place for people to walk.
