Looking for Volunteers: Janes Walks Leaders May 4th/5th

Author:

Feet First are proud to once again be the central Puget Sound organizers for Jane’s Walks! This walking series honors the memory and legacy of Jane Jacobs.

Jane’s Walks happen the first weekend in May (this year May 4th and 5th). We are looking for walk leaders/organizers who would like to use this opportunity to lead a walk! Walks can happen at any time on the 4th or 5th, anywhere you would like to walk, and talk about anything you’d like – in the context of Jane Jacobs’ principles, which you can read all about here.

In previous years people have led walks of their neighborhoods, talked about history, architecture, homelessness, redlining, and much more! Feet First welcomes conversations while walking; we fully support Jane’s Walks mission of promoting walkable neighborhoods and cities planned for and by people.

Please contact us at info@feetfirst.org if you are interested in leading a walk!
