Feet First Walking Audit on the White Center Heights Elementary Recognized

Author:

Approximately 20 people attended a walking audit conducted Feet First for the White Center Heights Elementary as a part of the King County Food and Fitness program.

The audit complemented the audit conducted by the Neighborhood House’s Greenbridge Community Action Team Be Active Together action plan. They have already had four victories from their plan.

The walking audit divided into two groups. Each group walked approximately one mile with a facilitated discussion by Feet First. The one hour tour along a walking route will allow community members to document the issues and opportunities around creating a walkable and safe neighborhood.

Take a look at the great press from the West Seattle Herald.
