Feet First Stairway Talk & Walk

Author:

With roughly 650 stairways throughout the city, Seattle is a major stairway town! Out of their love for this unique legacy, Cathy and Jake Jaramillo wrote the pocket-friendly guide to the best of these stairways: “Seattle Stairway Walks: An Up-and-Down Guide to City Neighborhoods.”

Join Jake and Cathy for this unique chance to learn about Seattle’s stairways. Come listen to an informative lecture detailing the history of Seattle stairways and why they are so important to Seattle’s urban landscape. Afterwards, they will lead a two-hour tour of Magnolia stairways. After the walk, everyone is welcome to join us at the Magnolia Village Pub for a well-deserved pint!
