Neighborhood Walking Ambassador Training Event
Feet First is looking for engaged, passionate community members throughout the region to become Neighborhood Walking Ambassadors, trained individuals who lead walks through their community. The walks are themed, interpretive events bringing neighbors together to share the interest of walking.
To date, Feet First has trained 20 ambassadors with a unique curriculum including hands on training to assist with the development of themed walks that inspire and motivate people to explore places by foot. Past walks by Neighborhood Walking Ambassadors include an architecture walk, a fitness walk, and a nature walk. These walks allow community members to connect with each other and their surroundings while encouraging healthy habits and safety. Feet First trains and supports the Ambassadors throughout the process to make sure the walks are successful.
